The Flagger, now Temporary Traffic Operations employee, will still call herself The Flagger. The brain will grow, as the eyes develop a new way of looking at the roadway: signage, striping, thermoplastic, and the buttons. I learned new words, the gore line and the turn pocket.
The totes hold the paint, and the road owners of State, City, and County are an amazing patchwork of shifting boundaries. Oh and I saw the amazing herd of about 60 elk grazing in the morning light, chased by fog. Black River Wildlife Refuge. I went down Thurston roads I never have seen. Also for my K&D buddies, I was out on Delphi with the boss, but did not make it down to you. So many construction zones today. Let summer begin
